Always There Home Watch is owned and operated by Kim Barselou and Brian Cobo. We decided to start a Home Watch business after a family member had an issue while on vacation. They didn’t think that in just 2 short weeks anything would happen to their home. They had a pipe leak and completely destroy their wood flooring, cabinets and drywall.
Kim is a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, 6th generation born and raised here. Kim has held a Project coordinator and administrative position for over 20 years. Known as “Girl Friday” she has done whatever was needed to get the job done properly and timely. For thirteen of the 20+ years she oversaw the maintenance of a large medical practice with 9 locations, managed contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and contractors.
Kim is a proud Army mom! Her son serves the 82nd Airborne division and recently come back from deployment in Afghanistan. Kim is also the proud grandmother to two granddaughters. When not working, Kim enjoys the Florida lifestyle, volunteering and spending time with friends and family is very important to Kim.
Brian originally hales from Buffalo, NY, but moved to Fort Myers as a young man. Brian has been in the custom car and truck industry most of his life, as well as a corrections officer. In his industry you must have a keen eye for details and good customer service. When Brian isn’t working on other people’s projects, he can be found working on custom projects, enjoying the outdoors, volunteering and spending time with friends and family.
Always There Home Watch is an Accredited Member of the National Home Watch Association. Owner Kim Barselou is a Certified Home Watch Professional, meeting the qualifications set forth by the National Home Watch Association. Additionally, Kim is a National Home Watch Association Boot Camp graduate. This puts Always There Home Watch a step ahead of other companies. If a problem should arise with roofing, plumbing, HVAC, etc., we have professional contractors and businesses we can suggest to you, to quickly rectify the situation.
